Tour with the Pros
The much anticipated Giro D’Italia is having its 100th anniversary in 2017, with a roster of pros flocking to compete for the coveted pink jersey. In the last week of the event, there are 5 mountain stages in the Italian Alps including many of the classic cols: Mortirolo, Stelvio, Tonale, Pordoi, Valparola, Gardena and Grappa . Our 8 day trip will start from Milan, with a transfer to Ponte di Legno, 13 km from the stage 16 route and virtually on the route of Stage 17. Throughout the trip, we will be viewing 5 stages live so you will be up close to the action of the Grand Tour. Each of our trip hotels is close to the race course, so this means less driving time and more time riding. We accommodate a variety of riding abilities- each day we will present options so that you can challenge yourself to the level that YOU wish. The tour includes amazing meals, wine tastings, and other events that promise to make your experience the best possible. And because we operate our own trips, the only surprises will be good ones. Our 2017 Giro trip is certain to sell out early, so book now to hold your place
